Our editorial policy

Horamio is first a tools website: timer, alarm clock, stopwatch and clock, in twenty languages. The news section adds a layer of articles. Here is how they are written.

Who writes here

The articles are signed by Sam Arkwell, time tools and focus methods specialist. The site is published by N2C (full details in the legal notice).

Our writing rules

• Tested before recommended: the methods we describe (Pomodoro, time blocking, routines) are tried in real conditions with our own tools.
• Verified dates: clock changes, holidays and deadlines come from official sources, cited at the end of each article.
• No productivity miracles: no method suits everyone, and we say so when it is the case.
• Dated articles: every article shows its publication and update dates.

Advertising and independence

The site may display advertising to fund its operation, with no influence on the tools or the content of the articles.
